iVirtual Appoints Chris Godsall As President And Member Of The Board
TORONTO, ONTARIO (September 15, 2021) – iVirtual Technologies Inc. is thrilled to announce that Chris Godsall has officially joined the Company as President and Member of the Board. Chris is a seasoned organizational leader and recognized as one of Canada’s leading technology and social enterprise innovators. He is also the recipient of numerous meaningful career accolades, including a Governor General’s award.
Chris brings with him 25 years of experience building and running category leading companies, managing the development of patented technologies, and leading the commercialization of successful US, Canadian and international operations. Most recently, Chris was the co-founder and CEO of Ziva Dynamics, a bio-simulation and virtual human software company whose customers include several world-leading media companies. He is also the founder and former CEO of Triton Resources, which was acquired by Voltalia (PARIS: VLTSA).

Notably, Chris is considered the founding father of the robotic underwater timber extraction industry where he raised over $50 million in private equity and negotiated private investment from leading venture firms in the US, Canada & Europe.
In the last 20 years, Chris has secured service, sales and concession contracts in US, Canada, Asia, South America and Africa valued at over $1.5B. His work has been featured in Forbes, Wall Street Journal, Scientific American, The Globe and Mail, CNBC News, Popular Science and many other media across the globe.
Chris is a Zeller Family Foundation Scholarship winner, John Dobson Entrepreneurial Studies Award winner, an Ernest Manning Innovation Award nominee, and is listed by Maclean’s Magazine as one of Canada’s 100 Leaders and Dreamers. In addition to his commercial background, he holds an MSc. in Responsibility and Business Practice from the University of Bath. In 2018, Chris was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal by the Government of Canada.
